@RealDumasMike@Lions His ability to find talent in the draft is irrefutable. Itโs the free agent and trade acquisitions (or lack there of) that irks me sometime. If people really think he should be gone. Their fan card should be revoked.
My boomer dad retired at 62.
Full pension.
Paid off house.
Medicare at 65.
Social security at 67.
Told me at Thanksgiving, I just need to be more disciplined with my money,
I make $71,000.
Rent is $1,900.
I have $4,000 in savings.
I didn't say anything.
I passed the rolls.
But here's what i wanted to say:
Your pension was defunded by lobbyists your generation elected.
Your social security is solvent because mine is still paying in.
Your houseis worth $800,000 because mine costs $600,000.
You didn't build differently.
You just got there first.
@MontgomerDavid thank you for your time in Detroit, DMO. You are a class act and represented perfectly what it means to be a Lion. Best of luck on your next stop and wish you well and thank you for the memories. #sonicandknuckles4ever
@NoLimitGains Seriously, so glad I started following your account. No spin on what you report and you let us know how itโs going to affect the markets and life directly. Seriously, thank you for what you do.
@BarstoolBigCat@PardonMyTake@PFTCommenter Disappointed you are going behind a paywall. Making viewers pay for a subscription and then having ads on the pod is gross. Everything for the common man is getting more expensive and now add this to the list. Congrats on getting richer
No imagine if our GM did his job and got a pass rusher in the offseason or at the deadline. Good thing we have all that cap space.
Love Holmes for his drafting but is free agent acquiring and trading is dreadful.
Hereโs your Moon Stat for this week. The Lions are playing the Packers on a Waxing Crescent Moon. The Lions are 10-1 on this Moon in the last three years.
The Lions are 7-4 on Thanksgiving during Waxing Crescent Moons and 3-0 against the Packers in those games.
@DonnieDoesWorld People would drive snowmobiles to games. When we would score, regularly the fans throw moose legs, fish, beaver tail, anything they would hunt or trap. The people are very nice and I enjoyed my time. It is like a different world up there especially in winter. (2/2)
@DonnieDoesWorld Kind of far away but the Iron range in northern Minnesota is beautiful and there is a lot of interesting people. I played junior hockey in a town called Hoyt Lakes for a season. Less than 2000 people. The family I lived with were super outdoorsmen. (1/2)
