The city looks vastly different today thanks to our hard-working SFPD officers. For context, since June 2023, we’ve made over 14,392 arrests for drug-related activity while seizing 1,259 lbs. of narcotics.

On Jan 5, SFPD officers responded to an armed individual in crisis along the Embarcadero. Our Tactical Unit and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) de-escalated the dangerous situation and safely took the person into custody. Thank you to all of our officers involved.
