As a former Guild leader, I was relieved when the events at Nalika line were cancelled! The pressure and expense of hiring top musicians because you want to be a Guild President of @Makerere is uncalled for!

If there is a need for artists, let opportunity be given to upcoming artists at the university; this will offer them a platform to nurture their talent and expose them to better opportunities.

Rallies need to be taken back to the university and not on the streets outside the University. Makerere surely can find means of managing rallies so that they don’t escalate into violence.
