This morning, at the @NLC_Kenya headquarters in Nairobi, I presided over the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Land Commission, the International Land Coalition Africa (ILC-Africa), and the Land Development and Governance Institute (representing the Kenya National Land Coalition). This partnership reflects our shared dedication to advancing sustainable land governance in Kenya.

The MoU outlines key areas of collaboration, including strengthening land administration, improving natural resource management, and resolving land-related conflicts. By working together, we aim to foster more efficient and equitable solutions to the land challenges facing communities across the country.

I took a moment during the signing to acknowledge and appreciate our development partners for their steadfast support. Their contributions have been crucial in enabling the Commission to uphold its constitutional mandate and deliver services that benefit all Kenyans.

This agreement represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance land governance. I am optimistic that this collaboration will drive meaningful progress, ensuring that land resources are managed fairly and sustainably for the prosperity of present and future generations.
