@Dan_Gaming@HUN2R Right… or maybe leaving it for the first stream back after letting everyone marinate on it for a weeks will turn in some awesome numbers and amazing news stories for all involved.
Hey @Twitch there is no way to end this @DrDisrespect drama without a public statement. Get your lawyers to work with his lawyers and issue a joint statement. This has to be done now!!
@JakeSucky@cecianasta@JakeSucky you have to use the words allegedly. If you don’t you are opening yourself up to legal troubles. What the actual frick man. How dumb are you?
@muffindroppX @JakeSucky@HUN2R@DrDisrespect@Twitch Also this is something I’ve been saying. He’s still a shareholder in MS that doesn’t go away. So this whole thing is going to be a huge legal nightmare.
Hey @JakeSucky and @HUN2R if you two are reporting on any “supposed” leaks from this whole @DrDisrespect situation you better take extra care and get it verified directly from an active @Twitch executive. Anything less is entertainment and not journalism.
@muffindroppX @JakeSucky@HUN2R@DrDisrespect@Twitch So far Jake has been just “reporting” on what people are saying. He’s not a journalist, he’s a gaming reporter that has been doing his best to succeed. I respect the grind he has been putting in, but he’s swung for the fences on some big issues and struck out.
No business in their right mind is going to stand beside a man that gets these types of allegations. There is no upside for them to fight for that brand ambassador. It’s best to just quietly duck out and then take the hit from the loyalists, with no response given.
Y’all hollering about @TurtleBeach, @MountainDew and @ScufGaming pulling the @DrDisrespect merch have zero understanding of business. They cannot afford to be associated with any drama. They can easily pull the products and then terminate their agreements based on morality clause
It costs them nothing to pull the merchandise (just unpublished those products from their website). They probably have a clause in their agreements that allow them to pull things without terminating the agreement (with or without cause) in an effort to protect their brand.
@dougdagnabbit That’s SOP for these companies with creators as brand ambassadors. Pull first so there is no associate to the current media blitz. Once the storm roles over, if everything was cool then they can rebrand and come up with something new with creator that everyone was talking about.
@YaBoySavior@JakeSucky Except. The arena has been under construction for a while. New arena usually means somethings changing. Last time this sh*t happened, he came back hard and his viewership was through the roof. Everyone is talking about him again. Everyone wants to know…
@tweetsofWIZARD Here’s the thing, the only hard evidence would be information illegal stolen by an ex-Twitch Employee (screenshots). Any of that could be 100% faked. If it’s not verified by a Twitch Executive as real and true it’s all just hearsay. #IANAL
@TooNiceKyle @THEHELMETFIRE If as a married man and a public figure he was sexting other randos, he has a much bigger problem. But that’s not a crime. If he found out and was disgusted and out, then I’m cool with him be a dumbass to his wife. But he’d be 100% a dumbass in my book.
@MrRancheroLive @TurtleBeach They don’t need to post anything. They just pull what they need to from their sites, and then inform @DrDisrespect management that they executed the termination clause based on their morality clause. #endofstory#IANAL
And @JakeSucky you cannot afford another hit to your credibility after the cheating/lie detector debacle. We gave you a pass as an up-and-comer, that you would make a few mistakes. This one is too big for you to recover from if you get it wrong.
