@renoomokri So Reno you were busy looking out for @PeterObi in Daura? You really love the guy so much you will never give up any opportunity to advise him.
@instablog9ja@GazetteNGR Since you referred to China as an example for punishment, I hope you also know that the punishment for corruption in China includes the death penalty? We need such strong law in Nigeria too
I will counsel the Tinubu administration to look inward rather than outward to cushion the impact of subsidy removal. Summon Chief Innocent Chukwuma to Aso Rock, along with your Economic Management Team. Ask him what he needs to start manufacturing inexpensive vehicles that run on compressed natural gas (CNG). Then give him the money on a zero-interest basis so that he can start churning out cars and buses for Nigerians.
The loan will be interest-free on the condition that he will, in turn, grant Nigerians low-interest hire purchase options to buy his vehicles.
Once we have a million CNG vehicles on our roads, especially if they are made in Nigeria, the national demand for petrol will drop dramatically, and there won't be the need for subsidy because Nigeria is entirely self-sufficient in natural gas and can provide it for citizens at next to nothing.
Imagine 60 million Nigerians dependent on made-in-Nigeria IVM cars powered by made-in-Nigeria CNG, using Glo mobile to make our calls, and Dangote and Ibeto cement to build our houses, and buying made-in-Nigeria food and beverage from Next Cash and Carry instead of Shoprite. If we take these actions, the Naira will immediately rise in value because more of our capital will circulate in our country rather than flying to Europe, America and Asia.
We need creative solutions like this. And these are some of the ideas that the Nigerian Labour Congress leadership should be coming up with rather than resorting to protests when Nigeria is facing an existential crisis in Niger Republic that can destabilise our country and region.

@renoomokri I agree with you absolutely but this should not be limited to Innochris. It should also involve other vehicle assembly plants such as Ananmco etc. The goal should also go beyond producing vehicles to massive creation of job opportunities. The value chain effect will be massive.
@ndekekwe This is what happens when people are made judges because they are wives and children of politicians instead of their qualifications, characters and experiences. In most State/ federal judiciary, at least 70% of the judges and magistrates are related to politicians. Rubbish!
Many on this street are too young to fully understand the historical significance of Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union, who passed away yesterday. I’m not surprised that the Russian Government has indicated that he will not be given a state funeral.
@NnamdiChife@ProfBartNnaji@OfficialPDPNig He was a NASA Engr. A former Minister of Power. Yet the power problem in Nigeria was not resolved during his term in office? I wonder what type of Governor he will make!
@Chukwudi808 If Kyari and his team can keep someone in custody for nearly a year without trial, why then is he seeking for Baik for himself now? Wicked mas people everywhere
Got stuck in a holdup at Olugbo(between Sapele and Benin) for 6hrs 23mins. today as a result of bad roads that caused trucks to fall and block the road. The lockdown was a missed opportunity to fix our roads.
