@AthanTheGuy “media literacy” can we stop acting like tadc was deep enough for this 💔 half the plot wasn’t even solved and only one character had somewhat of a fleshed out backstory with shitty trans rep which wasn’t even directly addressed until recently
@Showtoonz123 Couldn't agree more. The "who's a human and who's an NPC" and the "if I did any more, trust me" felt like set up for Caine messing with a human-originated mind by mistake, trying to fix it, boom, abstraction.
To do nothing with it brought the series writing as a whole down.
@Showtoonz123 tadc has the issue of introducing a lot of cool stuff but then good chunk of them go nowhere and you can remove some of them without any effect on the narrative, which is not a good thing 😭
complex?? Character driven??? do not ever compare that slop to deltarune, at this point you guys are just blatantly ignoring why people hate the finale to begin with
You can’t just say “this won’t be a lore focused show”, then hint to lore in multiple episodes and then infodump all said lore into one episode only to drop it all and not expect people to be scratching their heads, like what did you think was ganna happen?
There’s a difference between expecting too much of TADC and not wanting the show to waste your time lmao. Wanting an actual payoff to the multiple plot threads purposely set up isn’t asking for a lot. Not our fault it did that and then dropped everything without explanation. 🙃
@JustTheClippy On a serious note, are you trying to get some publicity before your next project?
Cause basically saying "I read the scenario ya'll, if you just watch the series, sike on you" is not the win you think it is.
Here's everything @afpolice did to them:
>Followed them for several blocks waiting for them to make a mistake. When they didn't, they stopped them anyways and falsely accused them of a rolling stop at a stop sign.
>Pulled them over in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason and searched their car for 3 hours for "heroin." Repeatedly accused them of this even though they all said they'd happily take drug tests, etc.
>Snatched a guy's arm and arrested him for trying to lock his phone before handing it over to the police. Falsely accused him of trying to tamper with evidence even though he didn't even touch the screen.
>Stole a sign they were legally putting up to raise awareness for their GoFundMe.
>Raided his home on some bullshit suspicion of stealing the Legos/bullshit claims about stalking. Dislocated Ben's shoulder, claiming he "made a move" when he was literally just standing motionless.
>Arrested the processing server who was there to witness him serving the papers.
>Repeatedly got in the way of him serving the papers. Accused them of having fake court papers, called it in and found out they were real. Then falsely accused them of using the papers as an excuse for stalking because they'd "already filed" (they hadn't).
>Made an entire video lying about the entire thing.
This police department is run by/filled with corrupt, dirty rats who are a disgrace to law enforcement, a disgrace to the Mormon religion, and a disgrace to their oaths and badges. All of them should retire and turn themselves in for corruption. Please report them for administrative corruption and abuse of authority using the FBI's anonymous tipline, including as many details as possible. https://t.co/BZu13nJUZg
The long and short of it is, a man brought his sick father's Lego collection to one of their franchisees. Had a contract with them to sell the Lego set.
Immediately after, the franchise changed ownership. The new owner exploited a legal loophole to keep the set with zero reimbursement for the set's owner. The set is valued between 100k and 200k, something an old man spent his entire life collecting.
Corporate refused to do anything, told them to fuck off basically, and the new owners also told them to fuck off. So the son got a YouTuber who is known for exposing corruption to try and help out. After much pressure, the new owner agreed to hand over the set if they "apologized" for trying to get their Legos back. They apologized. They still refused to hand over the set despite setting up various "meetings" (giving them the runaround for over a week).
So they took it to civil court. No response from the business, default judgement awarded. Went to collect, the entire store was permanently closed - no Legos. So they were forced to sue the new owners directly, as individuals. However the court requires you make a "good faith effort" to settle before accepting.
He made multiple attempts to contact the owners, was ghosted, repeatedly had the police called on him. The police (who heard the full story and said he was "lying" - because B&M is one of their donors) - continuously harassed/intimidated them. Including searching their car for 3 hours for "heroin" they never found, stealing their property (a sign they tried to hang up in public), and arresting them on bullshit charges numerous times.
He was finally able to make his "good faith effort" and it was finally time to serve the papers. Police knew he was there trying to serve them papers - "Uh oh better protect our donors!" - immediately arrested EVERYONE including the process server who was there to witness the papers being served. Charged him with a fucking crime for mentioning the owner's name in a GoFundMe. Tried to hold him without bond. Judge saw what happened, said "this is stupid" and gave him bond conditions. Then police raided his house under suspicion that HE STOLE the Legos, dislocated his arm when he was just standing there motionless, and basically shook everyone down.
On his way home he is told police where there looking for him for a new warrant, with no bond condition yet again, so he fled to Mexico and that's where we're at now.
Some real repercussions coming for Bricks and Minifigs as one of their suppliers https://t.co/I8LU0GccTg has seen enough and are severing ties. Going to make sure to check out their site and give them some business as I am sure this was a hard financial decision.
@Dexerto Translation: we're losing at the long con we wanted so we're going to throw our coconspirators Josh and Brandon under the bus in hopes to save face, appeal to the public by giving Mansell everything, and pretending like we didn't lie about our franchise agreement for weeks now.
