@sounderatheart @PROreferees explanation is garbage because the ref gave no yellow to the keeper until notified by VAR. Which requires a red card or no card. A yellow card is not an option.

We complain about refs all the time. But in this case it's more than just a missed call, it's a blatant inability to protect a player's health.

This is a red and it's a complete failure by @PROreferees that is antithetical to their mission.
