Morenikeji is the founder of Moolori Wearable Art, in Lagos. When asked, what inspires her artwork? She stated, “all things Yoruba!! The culture & nature.” Eloquently allows her paintings to tell stories that are characterized by Adire motifs and Yoruba decorative patterns.
When asked, what inspires you? She stated, “she is inspired by the unique and effortless beauty of black people.” — Tillanye
Allowing her inspiration to translate through her artwork, she uses color and expression to affirm and uplift her people. The gift, that keeps on giving.
I am honored to announce that I will be featured in Black History’s Muse: An Art Exhibition hosted by EveryDopeGirl in partnership with The Mhuseum on February 26, 2022 at Social Status in Houston, Texas.
