The record is simple: Trump was never documented at the actual Ground Zero pile in the days immediately after 9/11. The verified appearances — photo-ops and TV interviews — were a few blocks away.

What's beyond the pale is that 25 years later the serial lying sociopath is still claiming he went down there to clear rubble and sent hundreds of his own workers to help. Investigative reporting and New York Fire Department officials have found zero evidence he ever entered the restricted pile or took part in first-responder efforts. ZERO.
