The Eastern View High School #VAFCCLA chapter has been educating their peers and raising funds for the JDRF as part of National Diabetes Awareness Month. Today, their #FCCLA “miracle minute” raised over $400 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation! Thank you, @evhsFCCLA!

Today's Miracle Minute raised over $400 that will be donated to the #juvenilediabetesresearchfoundation #jdrf What a huge success in raising funds for research, but more importantly spreading awareness for our friends like Silas and six other Cyclones that live w/ #Type1Diabetes

We had fun at last night's family movie night event for our Little Cyclones Preaschool. In addition to this being a great #FamiliesFirst event, we wanted to #StandUp and advocate for diabetes. Over the next two weeks we will be sharing facts to help debunk the stigma surrounding.

It was a great day at the fair for CMS & EVHS FCCLA members who competed in the poster contest and completed an SOL Scavenger Hunt to explore the many parts of the #VirginiaStateFair @CTE4CCPS
