Takeaways from GDC:

1. In general, web3 is a growing force in traditional gaming, and the products are getting better and better. Educating players that are most interested in tech, but obfuscating it in the product for newbs.

2. There is such a difference in the feeling of things compared to last year. Hanging outside the @solana coffee shop, I heard someone literally say, “oh cool, I own some $SOL and it’s been ripping. I want to check this out.”

2. @avax is maybe doing the most to represent as an ecosystem. BIG footprint, great games like @playSHRAPNEL and vertical authenticity.

3. Was really impressed with @SuiNetwork after getting time to meet with @kostascrypto at the event showcasing their ecosystem.

4. @WolvesDAO is probably the premier gaming organization for builders and creators. Their WolvesDen house was a hit. Lots of camaraderie and collaboration.

5. @MonkeDAO is still the best general web3 networking group. Around 50+ Monkes at GDC two years in a row. All people contributing in a tangible way. Ready for NFT NYC!

It was great getting to see friends, clients and colleagues. It was exciting to see the insane growth of web3’s representation at this event in just one year.
