@ParacelsusII Kinda funny how hopelessly moralistic a lot of leftists are nowadays. Some of them can’t even explain anything if they can’t use that as the basis. Like come on
@psychicautomata Pretty much believe such as well. Though i’ve rationalized and integrated it into my worldview, I don’t believe killing can be truly righteous, but it can be necessary. I just could never find it in myself to support it as anything other than a necessity.
@WOOMBSTONE Anti death penalty arguments are at their worst when moralistic. Same goes for pro death penalty. Some people get really righteous about state sanctioned killing
@Faithinmyevil Only thing worse than #EVILDEMONS are people who purely live off the desire not to be as a substitute for actual thought. Because they’ll just end up sounding evil in the process, and their hearts not even in it
@Faithinmyevil Faux progressive outlooks are insano because they’ll just sound insane when trying to be pure. “The raped are just the raped. Don’t put the RAPED in a game. Because they’re the… raped.”
@MelocotonAngel - He also didn’t “rehabilitate” really, or at least his youtube channel is not morally spotless. Leeching off patreon who didn’t know of his crime.
@MelocotonAngel True. I’m rehabilitative but It leaves a bad taste when the most punitive of punitive individuals suddenly slightly agree with me when le softboi essay is the subject. Because he’s “one of them.” Spineless.
@bitchardthe3rd@redrummarts This situation has been so strange to me because while I do believe in rehabilitation, yes, a lot of the internet leftists who are suddenly preaching about restoration happened to be blatantly punitive before, because now it makes them uncomfy. Lack of principles on display.
@bitchardthe3rd@redrummarts At the end of the day, some people are questionably using such to discredit the whole exposure. No doubt it did carry out bizarrely, though.
