First time since Week 12, 2023 with only 2 SEC teams were in the AP top 10 (Georgia #1, Alabama #8). First time since Week 13, 2015 with only 2 SEC teams in the AP top 10 and neither were #1. (Alabama #2, Florida #10).
Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25.
Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: https://t.co/7dTTUiSC1j
Through Week 5, Jordan Love is 1 of 2 QBs to throw for multiple TDs in every game this season (Brock Purdy)
He has done so while being last in Time To Throw, has the most quick pressures in the NFL, is #1 in QB Hits, has the most dropped passes, & a rushing game ranked 32 of 32
When you chanted “Green Bay sucks” at farmers markets, your nephew’s birthday, Cubs/White Sox games, the art museum, and even your grandma’s funeral, but realized it was you all along that sucked.
Brand bias in the AP Poll is real. I’m just now seeing that Northwestern is not ranked. Their only loss is a competitive game on the road against the defending National Champs and they beat the breaks off Colorado and beat the breaks off Penn St. If they were an SEC team (or even one of the big brands in the Big Ten) they would be ranked in the top 15. It’s actually crazy to think the voters are completely ignoring them. They definitely pass the eye test, but who are we kidding… Most of the AP voters don’t even watch the games.
