Your Day 1 SH & Future Rivian Owner,

Rivian produced 12,613 vehicles and delivered 12,194 vehicles in Q2 2026. How bad do you think Rivian's automotive gross margin and consolidated gross margin will get during the R2 production ramp this quarter?
If they somehow manage to break even at the consolidated gross margin level, I would be impressed. I have my doubts, but the additional 1.1K R1 and EDV deliveries should provide a meaningful offset!
24 Days to go!

Your Saturday $RIVN posts!
Do you remember back in June 2024, Rivian announced a $5.8Bn software licensing and JV with Volkswagen! $RIVN jumped almost 50% right after the new broke up!
This week we found out that VW reportedly to end automated driving partnership with Bosch! Thus, an educated guess is that VW will go with Rivian once again!
What kind of software licensing deal do you expect this time?

@phani26781867 Yes, but what we don't know is when will Rivian raise another round of funding and in what form. Rivian will need additional cash no matter how well R2 has been selling thats my opinion.
Amazon X Rivian: Reimagining a Strategic Partnership - Amazon Could Demand Greater Last-Mile Delivery Coverage
💡I believe Amazon could expand its partnership with Rivian between late 2026 and the first half of 2027 with the following strategic initiatives:
1) Increasing its EDV order commitment to 200K🚘;
2) Strategic investment in Rivian via equity and convertible bonds💵.
📑In 2019, Amazon placed an order for 100k custom-built electric delivery vans from Rivian, with deliveries targeted for completion by 2030. As of June 2026, more than 50K EDVs have been deployed, meaning the agreement is already ~50% fulfilled with about 3.5 years remaining. From a cost-efficiency perspective, Amazon could choose to amend its agreement by increasing the EDV order book. Doing so would enable Amazon to further expand its last-mile delivery fleet, strengthening coverage not only across the US but also throughout Europe.
🆕Additionally, in March 2026, Amazon reportedly planned to reduce at least 2/3 of its shipping volume handled by USPS in response to rising shipping costs. Therefore, Rivian stands to benefit as Amazon increases utilization of its EDV network, which has already been reflected in Rivian's latest Q2 delivery results, citing "robust quarter-over-quarter growth in EDV deliveries."
🤖Rivian will continue to require capital to fund its operations and growth initiatives, even if the R2 launch is successful. They are approaching a critical inflection point where their valuation could move significantly in either direction, depending on the execution of the R2 platform.
💰With Amazon holding a 12.37% ownership stake in Rivian and having Peter Krawiec, Amazon's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Corporate and Business Development, on Rivian's Board, Amazon is one of the best candidates to provide strategic financial support if needed. Compared with raising capital directly in the public markets, funding from Amazon could offer Rivian a lower cost of capital while further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two companies.

@phani26781867 R2 has a lot of potential for sure! Bet a of legacy automakers took R2 a part then figured they are cooked!
Personally I am more excited on the van side! Still think there is an odds for Amazon to increase investment in Rivian late this year or early next…
