@LouStagner In the UK I think there are more sand baggers. It’s worth remembering that vanities are generally better golfers and therefore are often changing their swings to get better which causes some poor golf. Plus their margins for error are smaller which leads to more “checking out”.
@HackItOutGolf I’m normally pretty decent on #staturday but I had 2.9 scratch and 3.7 15hcap this week so not great although would have been good enough to beat @GregChalmersPGA 🤣
@LouStagner I’m playing a 3/4 PW which is around a 140 shot. Target wise I’m aiming between the pin and the left edge of the middle bunker. A push puts me in the sand and a pull goes towards the pin. Easy to club up and give yourself a guaranteed 3 putt or pull it slightly and airmail it.
@4golfonline I would say that general play scores need to be limited. Maybe max 25% of your 20 are gen play and also 25% of your best 8 too. Seems to be lots of people using gen play rounds to deliberately manipulate index.
@LouStagner Really would depend on course conditions. Some municipal courses have good greens and bunkers but some have terrible greens and bunkers. If the greens and bunkers were good he would shoot in the 50’s. If the greens and bunkers are poor then who knows. Need to hole putts.
@LouStagner Interesting one. I would say a 10 index make percentage from 10ft must be around 20%? Potentially 14ish under par so definitely a good chance as the last 2 winners have won at -10?
