@EmilyPattison7 The makerspace and burning man project. I am planning a burning man project for my students at the end of the year where they have to use recycled materials! #wemake19
@EmilyPattison7 A8. If you asked me before the Burning Man Project, I would of told you I hated Adruino but after researching projects I didn't know all of the opportunities the kit offered. My favorite was the sound one where when you got close the frequency changed. #wemake19
@AmandaBaron19 A7. Yes! It's so difficult to incorporate it into my classroom and teach students when I feel like I am still learning. When we do coding games I think they can tell I am still learning or some students know more than I do... #wemake19
@AmandaBaron19 A5. That it had to tie in 3 resources we used in class. Even though it was hard to come up with an idea, once you came up with one I really felt like I gained understanding of each resource #wemake19
@AmandaBaron19 A6. Yes, now that I realized you don't really need expensive materials or maybe find 1 project that students can work on. I think a makerspace is a great way to tie in the curriculum with creativity. #wemake19
@kerri_pangburn it doesn't really fit in my curriculum so I usually have kids work on it if they finish work early. But if you have time to teach a few lessons of it, students can make some awesome games that relate to what they are learning about. Basically they can make anything #wemake19
@kerri_pangburn A9. I really like using Scratch. I think they have fun activities, good tutorials and I like the fact students can play the other games to created to see what can be done. The supplies for paper circuits seem cheaper compared to the other circuit kits. #wemake19
@jenndoyle10 A8. Chibitronics at least to introduce. I love that you can make a picture light up and even though it looks more "kiddish", it brings out the kid in you. #wemake19
@kerri_pangburn A6. I had no idea how circuits work and now I at least understand the basics. I was familiar with coding but this course has helped me expand my knowledge. #wemake19
