There's only 1 real excuse.
It's just not important enough to you.
Your gut, your money, marriage, job, relationships.
All of it.
If mattered enough you'd do something about it.
You got fat and out of shape because of lazy habits.
Going to the gym and eating better will only work if you get rid of the lazy part too.
Lazily - Ballparking your food and working out like you’re bored isn’t going to yield the results you want.
As Christians, we should be the healthiest, strongest, fittest and most disciplined people on the planet. The 1%. Your body is a temple, not a trash can.
Poisoning yourself with garbage, staying sick, weak, overweight and broken isn’t humility, it’s disobedience. You will never fully serve your purpose that way.
1 Corinthians 9: 26-27
If you ask my opinion, know it’s not my intent to hurt your feelings when I answer you. I just don’t care if I do. My goal is delivering the truth not figuring out which lie you prefer I tell you.
Sadness and depression are very often a direct result of living a life void of purpose. Robotically doing the same things over and over every single day without any passion, vision, expectation or real plan for growth or progress.
Want to change your life?
-Find something you’re passionate about
-Make a decision to pursue it
-Design a plan to get started
-GO and never GIVE UP
The taste of food is NOT worth your busted-up body and poor health.
I promise you: the pleasure of being healthy, strong, fit, and sexy is 100x better than anything on your plate.
Change your relationship with food, and your relationship with yourself will change too.
You don’t get self-esteem from a six pack. You get self-esteem from being the kind of person that goes to the gym and eats clean every day.
Self-esteem is built in the daily grind and proving to yourself that you are that person.
But Coach, I still weigh the same:
5 lbs of fat takes up about 3-4x the physical space of 5 lbs of muscle. You can be the same weight you were at 30, but if you've swapped 15 lbs of muscle for 15 lbs of fat, you will look saggy and soft even if the number on the scale hasn't moved.
I see this ALL THE TIME and it will keep happening unless you step up.
We can all make up excuses “why”.
The only real reason anyone has is that it’s just not important enough to you. If it was you’d find a way.
This goes for your health, God, family, business..
And for those reading this that are already making excuses about WHY they make excuses. JUST STOP

Taking a medication to silence a warning sign while ignoring the root cause is like cutting the wire to your car’s check engine light and pretending you fixed the problem.
Perspective
1lb of fat =3500 calories
Average 60-min strength training workout -250 calories burned (90% glycogen, not body fat)
Average 30-min cardio session - 200 calories burned
Small handful of trail mix or nuts (¼ cup): ~200 cal
2 TBS peanut butter and 1 small apple ~280 cal
2 oz piece of cheese ~200 cal
You can't snack, ballpark your calories and do “some” cardio and expect great results
Attitude. Actions.
The only 2 things you can control and interestingly enough, the only 2 things that determine your happiness and your quality of life.
There’s nothing in your life that you don’t have the power to change.
Most people are just their own worst enemy - self sabotage masters
You don’t have life issues. You have an ownership issues.

Text - GLP-1's don’t magically burn fat or “fix” something. They make you eat less.
The drugs didn’t prove that your metabolism was broken. They proved your problem was overeating in the first place.
