@A_S12@USANetwork@phoenixraceway@SBJ@GettyImages The racing product is mid-tier on average. The personalities have all but dried up thanks to a variety of factors. It's just not that entertaining anymore. People want action, drama, and danger. Hate me as much as you want, part of the lure of motorsports is the danger involved.
@citchmook If I was an Avs fan, I would be slightly concerned after that game. By far the worst game I've ever seen out of MacKinnon and Makar. If the rest of the team can't find a way to beat The Flyers without them, that's not great.
@Brandon_W22@TobyChristie This response literally makes zero sense. So you're telling me that cars don't get torn up in other racing series' and go to pit lane for repairs?
Even if that was the case, what's your point? Each corner of the car would have a wheel speed sensors, computer would figure it out.
@Fireball_Hamlin Chris Gayle sucks. He put Hamlin behind AGAIN with poor strategy after stage 1 and Denny made another mistake on pit road. They're just not locked in for whatever reason and running out of time to right the ship. He better be hoping for a big day at Talladega.
@Brandon_W22@TobyChristie Almost every other major form of auto racing uses a pit road limiter, I'm pretty sure they can figure it out. F1, Indy, WGT, Supercars, WEC, etc.
@DavidTBuwalda@TobyChristie Pit road speed is more of a safety issue than anything else. Frankly, getting rid of another variable in this area would be better for the sport, not worse imo.
@helliott94@TobyChristie They're literally running off of a tach, he was probably well within his lights or at least very close to it. When you lose that much diameter on one wheel it's going to be very, very difficult to get it right.
@bobpockrass He got bailed out by another Chris Gayle masterclass of how not to call a race. Credit where it's due to them for getting the car better, but that never happens if not for the incompetence of Gayle.
Is anyone else starting to wonder if Chris Gayle is doing this to @dennyhamlin on purpose? Like, seriously, how can a Cup crew chief be this bad at strategy compared to his own teammates? He has completely fumbled the entire Chase so far.
