After the amount of corruption and abuse of pardons we've seen in this administration, it's time for a #28thAmendment. Please sign and pass it on:

@tedcruz I'm a free market guy but when it comes to people's lives, this kind of garbage has to stop. Making profits on basic essentials for living (while doing nothing to upgrade the system to prevent problems like this) is simply criminal.
Never thought I would utter words like these.
@goodelynn1 @Zymurge13@birdsnfrogs@tedcruz Eh. I'd say Abbott, while beholden to his party, is more sane than a lot of the others we've got. He's trying to walk a tightrope between the radical right and reality. I wouldn't hold my breath too much, but he might surprise us. Of course, that's only if he feels the pressure.
@MetzgerKevin@AynRandPaulRyan@tedcruz I don't like what you say, I don't have to give you a platform. It's that simple. Would you have the government force every newspaper in the country to carry their propaganda? No? Same thing.
@tedcruz Oh, sorry, you're not a Nazi. You just like to say things that draw the Nazis who want to overthrow the government and murder your colleagues out of the woodwork. You have no shame, no decency, and no leg to stand on, you utterly spineless, TRAITOROUS blobfish. Resign.
@tbridge777 @itxaropena Fair point. Have to remind myself that the previous generation spent their youth ducking under desks to prepare for nuclear fallout. Our prep for mass shooters, while still messed up, is probably a downgrade.
@everbodyBlocksU @Haines4Laura@AndrewFeinberg At this point, I think it's about time for the sane conservatives to split off and make a new party. The nuts are running the asylum at the old one.
@tbridge777 @itxaropena Yeah. Would argue that those events, while notably crazy, happened in different years. 2020's been a doozy and 2021 is shaping up to be one as well so far.
@itxaropena I will say that 2020 has probably been the most eventful year for me to date for the sheer fact that there's been a pandemic that's caused more disruptions and death than most living have seen before on TOP of all the political and economic turmoil.
@itxaropena Hmm... 32, born in West Germany in the year before the wall fell. For me it started to go downhill with the 2000 election as I was getting into Jr. High. 9/11 was the next year, and my HS years were all about Iraq and Afghanistan as some of my peers were preparing to fight.
@JoyAnnReid The 1st Amendment does not require private entities to disseminate government officials' disinformation. Forcing them to do so would effectively be stifling the freedom of the press which IS in the 1st. Protection of speech=/=protection from social consequences.
@KamalaHarris Congratulations, VP-elect Harris! It took a hundred years to finally get a woman in those shoes. Let's hope it's only 4-8 more before we have one in the top spot. Good luck.
While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last—because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities.
Trump is used to filing suits against financially vulnerable unpaid contractors and hammering his accusers over the years with threats of crushing litigation. What he’s not used to is a well- funded opponent who isn’t scared to meet him in court, especially when he’s got bupkis.
@realDonaldTrump You probably lost there too. That's what happens when you call them suckers and losers and do exactly NOTHING about bounties being put on their heads. I mean, just about every General and Admiral that has their respect has come out against you for your poor leadership.
@AngelAbove799 @realDonaldTrump Not just any courts either. A lot of these rulings are being made by conservative judges even. It's almost like following the law and ensuring that there's a fair election with every vote counted is more important to them than Donald Trump winning.
@mrwiseman123@Letzy__@realDonaldTrump If by "heavily supported" you mean barely squeaked out a win from a bunch of people who were irritated at the establishment and thought "what's the worst that could happen?" Well now they've realized "the worst that could happen" is having Trump for four more years.
