@JordanBrig59210@atrupar We have standards that food and vehicles must adhere to. We don’t accept beef reared on growth hormones, chicken processed in factories so dirty that they need to be washed in Chlorine, and cars that only care about occupant safety ignoring the safety of others.
@EU_Commission When numbers are low posting a percentage increase in numbers is misleading (aka bollox). A comparison of the change per head of population or traffic volumes would be more more meaningful.
@iainthomson It's not just the US. I couldn't give blood in Ireland for years because I visited a dentist in the UK in 2006. And I would say abundance of caution rather than hysteria. When people that do not consume Ox-tail soup get vCJD it is right to be cautious.
@padresj The famine is very much part of our history here in Ireland. But I did not hear about the race massacre in Tulsa until I watched Watchmen. It seems history is told from the incumbents perspective and someone else's does not matter as much as your own.
@ColloquySussex@TedUrchin Slightly silly comment for someone that claims he was 14 when the vote happened. When you were 14 you could live anywhere in the EU, not just visit.
@andy9_thomas@reallyglobal@archer_rs I would grant that the level of Johnson's bastardy may depend on opinion. But the effectiveness of vaccines is a scientific fact. Personal doubt is based on your lack of data, but not a general lack of data.
@akohli @paul_snively Blaming the tool is just sad covering for user error. Allowing novices to use it without direction and policies is sad. Like all powerful tools git gives you all the rope you need. Compared to Clearcase, Mercurial, or Subversion git is magic.
