@TonyTrupp It is not the alters that are in contention. It is the stonework around. You can't ignore the signs of intentional sculpting. Erosion doesn't leave tool marks. Comparing huaca sites to natural outcrops in the region makes the erosion difference clear.

@TonyTrupp It's just that you can easily compare natural leached limestone outcrops in the cusco region to the affected huaca sites, you can clearly see a difference.

This stone is one that needs to be preserved and studied by scientists, not archaeologists.
