ExaFLOW project helps industry exploit high-order #CFD | Happy to see our project covered in Scientific Computing World. via @scwmagazine https://t.co/ykY7U1As1U
It was developed by our colleagues from @hpcepfl with the aim to provide a simple and easy-to-use interface for enabling applications to recover automatically and continue in the face of single and multi-node failures.
Because with #exascale in mind, fault tolerance matters! #HPC
#HPC#resilience is a major challange for future #exascale systems. @hpcepfl developed the Llama-interface used to identify guard and checkpoint objects & enabling applications to recover automatically.
But why call it Llama? 🦙 Make a guess below!
https://t.co/OZtoj6Ajid
Central to the use of the Llama-interface is the notion of guard objects and checkpoint objects within a parallel application that one wishes to make fault tolerant.

1st Flagship run : Running the NACA-4412 profile at a RE of 200,000 (corresponding to the speed of a glider ✈). By integrating the governing Navier-Stokes equations, the error indicator identifies regions with low resolution & refines the #mesh. #CFD
