🚨VALORANT HIGH FPS BUG IS REAL (500+ FPS)
If you're running uncapped or over 500 FPS, your send/receive rates drop hard after the first game. You stop getting proper server updates → feel like you're always behind, whiff easy shots, get wallbanged in the open, and holding angles feels impossible.
First game feels godlike, then it tanks.
Fix: Cap at 500 FPS or restart game after every match.

Serious allegations regarding Riot’s Vanguard anti-cheat system continue to grow, including:
• Claims that a Vanguard developer worked on a Vanguard spoofer called "Saturn" and other cheat related projects (a Javelin Anti-cheat Emulator)
• Claims that another Vanguard developer also defended the first Vanguard developer to EA and said he was not part of Riot
• Concerns that Vanguard may not fully delete user data after GDPR requests
• A leaked Vanguard panel screenshot appeared online
• Allegations that the first Vanguard developer mentioned also sent gifs in Discord servers containing signatures of a cheat blacklisted by Riot to ban legit people via Discord as Vanguard would think that the gif on your Discord is a cheat.
• Claims that a third Vanguard developer leaked Vanguard blacklisted signatures and private information
• Concerns that Vanguard can capture activity outside of League/Valorant when tabbing out often
This post reflects my personal opinion and interpretation. It does not claim any verified facts, and should not be taken as a statement of proven truth.
Clarifying the @Trainwreckstv ban:
This wasn’t just a 5-stack with friends on their own accounts.
An Immortal player (with prior boosting bans on their main) was swapping between MULTIPLE lower-rank smurfs/shared accounts they did not own. That group ran ~80% winrate across ~50 games.
This directly violates ToS section 15a (a): “playing on another person’s account or otherwise engaging in activity intended to “boost” an account’s status or rank.” https://t.co/F5JRLS0aCo
Quick note on the leaked screenshot: I typed “account he doesn't know” by mistake I meant “doesn’t own”. Typo on my end, my bad. I had already said multiple times in the conversation that there were people in that stack using accounts they didn’t own, so I didn’t think I needed to re-clarify it. That part got taken completely out of context.
5-stacking is completely fine if everyone is on accounts they personally own and hand-leveled. We’ve been actioning the shared-alt + deliberate MMR lowering version for over a year (probably longer). We even made public announcements about it: https://t.co/SOectD1pBx
We are seeing five-stacks queue up with one higher ranked account and multiple lower-ranked shared accounts to manipulate matchmaking for easier wins. Manipulating matchmaking this way will result in a suspension and HWID ban for all accounts engaging in the behavior.
We have started bans and will continue banning when we see this kind of abuse on the ladder.
We are rolling out additional device security requirements to highly suspicious players in League of Legends, preventing methods cheaters use to attempt to get around our systems. https://t.co/M6lRsrtkrw
I feel bad for any DMA or two PC pixelbot cheater. @JoelEmbiid just came down from a 3-1 deficit. I gotta at least detect one of the top 3 providers to keep his honor
hit Master Ball with Aurorus! I’m new to actually playing VGC, first time team building. I got this shiny in my shop, tried to make the best I could with what I had, super fun experience
@xQc@riotgames@RiotSupport@VALORANT@Trainwreckstv His tone was terrible by the end of this convo, but that typo is supposed to read "on an account he doesn't own," referring to all the borrowed smurf accounts the highest-ranked party member was swapping through to sandbag their ratings for matchmaking.
@nealCS Vanguard didn't crash Deadlock, and it crashing here has nothing to do with Riot's anticheat.
However, Vanguard does open handles to new executables to hash them, and there was a RARE bug that could prevent that handle from closing, locking the file. It was fixed.
