@Xander_Kaine@MorganC000 Does anyone have all the facts? It was wind, a plow-wind. Google it.
Furthermore, do you think the middle east removes their oil fields so it's safe to have a war there? 🙄
@prostar187 And, yes, the comments by some are utterly disgusting, disrespectful and hopefully they know the tinfoil hats are out in full force, seeking attention.
@prostar187 Gracie,.I'm praying for you nephew. Tami is keepin me posted, I hope your nephew makes it thru. He was my son' medic this week , and in Latvia. The greatest respect for your nephew, and hopes to visit him. Hugs to you all.
@Kachowfnbr_ My deepest condolences, from a 3 PPCLI Mom, whose son is in Wainwright. They are grieving, for themselves, and for you. Praying for you as yiu maneuver this new path.
@WesternStandard Patricia, your son was a devastating loss. I'm grateful for our chats to get thru the night. When you got that knock, I hope you know so many were trying to support you from afar. Thank you for your son's service and sacrifice.
@Ash_Stewart_ My grief for this Mom, and family is a hard hit for all, and Shaun's 3 PPLCI platoon. Patricia, my Army Mom heart has cried all night with you, and now for you. 💔
@MichelleRempel Thank you, from a 3 PPCLI Mom, whose son is in Wainwright, and training as this happened. I didn't get that knock on the door, but utterly devastated lady, who we got thru the night together by chatting about all the scenarios.....got that knock. I'm gutted, for her.
@Deutsches_Gift I GOT THAT TOO! Out of respect, until the families that were getting that knock on the door, I kept silent.
One Mom, I was in communication with throughout the night,
got.....that knock.
I'm just gutted for her.
We are dealing with a serious incident at CFB Wainwright, and are fully engaged with federal, provincial and local authorities. Our priority remains the welfare of our members, their families and their community, and my thoughts are with all those affected by this incident.
@WBrettWilson@WainwrightAB As a Mom, to a 3 PPCLI soldier, currently in this tragedy, maybe focus on the killed soldiers, the injured and their families, before trying to inject a self-serving insensitive post.
@tleehumphrey My son trains, and is in Wainwright. That said, something I'm not seeing considered, is petroleum infrastructure does deteriorate. There's multiple cases where pipelines have burst, causing fires.
Even if it has always been a safe training zone, old pipelines are vulnerable.
