@OldGitsnDragons I mostly map makes. New maps next week assuming the players manage to get through this one shot in one shot. Until then here's some of my old ones.
@DungeonGlitch Haphazardly constructed from random, assorted household items that have been pulled in telekinetically, forming a jumbled set of wings.
Highly impractical and very inconvenient.
@OldGitsnDragons Warhammers are less "I'mma beat you senseless" and more "I'mma shank you, but with a little more reach" then you might originally of thought.
theres this quote from miyazaki i think about a lot when it comes to the enemy designs in his games. no matter how horrible, or disgusting, or deranged, enemies must retain their "dignity". i think the epitome of that is ludwig. elden ring is already looking strong on that front!
Bonus puzzle door, the icons are alchemical symbols for fire, water, earth, iron and potash, close to the taoist elements. The door needed to have the appropriate elements presented to the icons in the correct order.
@HatchlingDM Like so many things it's cyclical I feel, though fantasy will often dominate a large part of the cycle because of TTRPGs strong roots there. After that is probably super heroes, distopian futures and victorian horror. Hard to say which will be next.
@OldGitsnDragons Goodness those poor books. Definately Chaotic Good for me almost all the time. Once had a receipt that served as a bookmark for a good 4-5 books in succession.
There are 13 new #dnd5e subclasses in Weird Wastelands, including the Circle of the Broken Land for druids who channel the fury of a dying world into frontline melee badassery.
