@sainsburys A Sainsburys bot just asked what I thought of this reply. I think the reply shows a total misunderstanding of the tweet 😕. I'm trying to politely request that Sainsburys price their products to encourage customers to buy the more eco-friendly options. They're doing the opposite.
Hey @sainsburys why do your 'eco' refills so often get sold at a stupid price which is more £ per gram than the big glass jars? No incentive to choose the option with less #packaging
Refills should always be cheaper than the alternative, they cost you less to transport after all!
Happy @amazon Prime Day... the
article goes on to quote Boris commenting, without a hint of irony, that this exposé of the phenomenal scale of Amazon's waste is "an indictment of a consumerist society, if it's as you say" 🤦♀️ https://t.co/Qj0yXZz4l4
Please @NHSVolResponder and @RoyalVolService, do NOT send your volunteers plastic ponchos without ASKING first if they want them! Now 🙄 owner of 2 giant unwanted #plastic ponchos. Awful for the environment & probably huge waste of money if ~95% of volunteers won't wear them
Just listening to latest episode of Dare to Repair - definitely recommended for anyone who hates our current throwaway culture thanks @markmiodownik https://t.co/uOzSOo1lCP
@denbypottery just received a 12-piece dinner service - amount of #plastic is silly - I understand why you bubblewrap it (at least that can be reused) but why on earth is each plate in a plastic bag? What's wrong with putting a bit of recycled paper in between each one?
@recycle4gm Or if you're horrified by the amount of #plastic waste generated by your 100th #lateralflowtest, and wondering if there's anything useful you can do with it, why not remove the back before carefully disposing of the rest & turn it into a sturdy #plant label #reuse#recycle ♻️🌱
@OneTrafford@AndrewHWestern Thanks. Why are these mystery issues taking so incredibly long to resolve and when do you anticipate being back to normal service?
@OneTrafford@AndrewHWestern still no response from One Trafford, or any update on the web page about your ongoing IT difficulties, it's been weeks - is anyone actually trying to fix whatever the problem is?
@OneTrafford your Report It site has been saying it is 'experiencing IT difficulties' for quite some time now. What does that actually mean? The page says "please wait for our normal service to resume"
Any update on when that might be please?
@PGtips@YorkshireTea@tetleyuk Loving the biodegradable bags (very few of mine seem to split) but it is hard to find 'naked' boxes which aren't shrinkwrapped, please ditch the shrinkwrap asap
Today we’ve disclosed our full plastic footprint - it’s horrific. Every business should now follow & government should make it law. As we say in business: “You can’t manage what you can’t measure”. It’s time to be honest. #OnePlasticFootprint

@NicoHeller I'm also very interested in the apparent incompatibility. Would rather trust @JaneGreatorex than the Daily Mail, BUT reading this gives me cause for concern especially as am currently living with someone who has been ill with Covid-19 symptoms for 14 days https://t.co/YPPkt0DdIp
@WhirlpoolUK all your recent tweets mention replacement not repair. Surely the environmental cost / carbon footprint of replacements is FAR greater? What will happen to all the old machines?? (Registered ages ago and not yet been offered anything ☹)
