Someone needs to drop a DLSS 5 gameplay of WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 on YouTube because that game was ahead of it's time for a Nintendo GameCube exclusive. That game had better graphics than Xbox and PlayStation exclusives WWE WrestleMania 21 and WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2006!
Imagine a BKFC game with:
🥊 Authentic bare-knuckle fighting
🏆 Career mode
🌎 Real BKFC fighters
🎮 Online multi-player
💥 Realistic damage & cuts
Would you buy it?
Why doesn't BKFC have a video game yet? 🥊🎮
I made a video about this back in 2020 — and the idea is STILL relevant.
BKFC has grown a lot since then.
Would you play a BKFC video game? 👀

Serious question though:
If 2K wasn't making NBA games anymore, which developer would you trust to make the next one? 👀
Sony San Diego Studio? Konami? EA? Someone completely new?
NBA 2K27 looks better... but is that really enough? 👀 🏀
Basketball gaming needs more than just better graphics.
We need completion. We need innovation. And we need developers willing to push the genre forward!

NBA 2K27 is here. DLSS 5 is here.
So why do I STILL think the next NBA game shouldn't be NBA 2K?
I explain why — and I have a company in mind that I think should challenge 2K. 👀 🏀

ABOUT CHASING TRENDS…
A lot of people are trying to jump on YouTube views for the Drake and Kendrick Lamar diss track beef…
And then wondering why they aren’t getting views…
The problem is knowing who your audience is and what they care about…
Even if you have a music based on audience, they may not care…
Drake and Kendrick are megastars and mainstream…
However they are CULTURAL ICONS, and not everyone is invested in this to the degree that everyone could be invested in something like the Will Smith and Chris Rock slap…
No matter how many subs or followers you have, you can’t get people to be invested or interested in something they genuinely JUST DON’T CARE ABOUT.
They will find something and someone who is covering what they do care about.
Also in many cases with trends if you’re not FIRST then you’re LAST.
Which is why you’re regularly content can and often will still outperform a trend jacking video if you’re not early enough.
Trends Jacking mostly fails because the goal isn’t to serve the audience, it’s the creator chasing attention…
Instead of attracting their tribe…
HOT TAKE for people who don’t think YouTube is a real job or hard work…
(Bookmark these stats)
The average working class credit tends to spend 5-10 hours on their work per video.
For a fair rate in that effort $150-$250 would be break even.
The average RPM (revenue per thousand views) across most niches that aren’t finance or that don’t make extremely long content with a ton of ads (Minecraft) is about $3 per 1000 views
Which means the average YouTuber has to make roughly 50,000 to 100,000 views per video of break even in labor cost alone for what they do.
Even with a $10 RPM (like mine) it’s 10K to 20K views to break even on a basic standard rate for editing and production labor at the lowest ethical rates for that work.
88% of all videos uploaded never get 1000 views on YouTube.
2% get 1000-10,000 views
1% get 10,000 to 100,000 views
90% of all views go to the top 3% of all channels worldwide.
Over 65% of all traffic goes to overseas non English content…
The average Youtube channel takes 5 years to become profitable.
Which means operating at a loss for those 5 years.
The average creator uploads 500 videos before they become successful.
For reference @MrBeast made 460 videos to get to just 10,000 subscribers.
And his first 100 videos got him to less than 800 subscribers and he was making on average $1 a day.
The average sunk cost of 1 year of weekly uploads to YouTube is $6250-$12,500 not counting expenses, and only labor costs.
In a 5 year attempt it’s $30,000 to $60,000 on opportunity cost, $15,000 to $30,000 if you want to downplay opportunity cost to minimum wage part time work equivalent.
This is just production and editing and doesn’t account for graphic design, script writing or research.
Or investments in hardware, software or learning.
And this is just for someone with the minimum viable level of technical skill and knowledge and being an entertainer.
If someone has a specialty such as bringing a trade skill or white collar profession to YouTube their opportunity cost in labor and time is significantly more, a minimum of 2x to 3x more.
It’s cute to say YouTube isn’t a real job, and Big Creators have to say everyone has it harder to them and the job is fun and easy, so people think they are humble and don’t cancel them…
The OBJECTIVE TRUTH by the numbers is that if you think it’s so easy to Make Money doing it…
You should quit your job now and do it then, or you don’t know what you’re talking about…
YouTube is the most transparent out of all platforms, offers the most monetization options out of all platforms, and offers the most direct Creator Support of all platforms…
And it’s not even close.
Are they perfect? NO.
Are they the GOLD STANDARD? YES.
I don't care the LA Dodgers are the new team to hate in Baseball. The only thing that sucks is one of my favorite players Mookie Betts plays on the team! 😤🥴
