Fleet Week in Vancouver has now started, with HMCS VANCOUVER and HMCS MAX BERNAYS now alongside the Shipyard District in North Vancouver. HMVS REGINA will join tomorrow, and we will be joined by the Princess Royal to Commission MAX. Come on out and visit your RCN Vancouver.
@WestCoastCmdre And… just a little further left, you’d see the mighty sailboats of CFSA Esquimalt racing in the Albatross Distance Race! What a great day on the water!
@WestCoastCmdre Such amazing vessels! I’m currently working with RCN Sail to get qualified and added to the roster of available skippers to take any of our four boats out. CFSA is running an excellent race program right now, we’ll have to get you out on the water with us. It’s a blast!
What a privilege to witness with the Comd Team of HMCS Vancouver, the unveiling of this inspiring art. It’s an honour to acknowledge the tallent and historic collaborative efforts of the 4 artists of the host nations upon whose traditional sacred lands the games will be played.

@WestCoastCmdre @RoyalCanNavy @MARPAC_FMARP @cityofcalgary Looking great! It’s so REG 😉! But I’m thinking, VAN could really use one of those approved paint schemes before next summer 🙄 🤞🏻.
A short read on what the RCN is doing in the Indo-Pacific with allies and partners on behalf of Canada and in support of our national interests. Keeping international waters…well international, in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

Welcome back to the good side of the harbour HMCS REGINA ... looks like your time at the spa was rejuvenating - now back to work with you. Good times at sea with #CANFLTPAC awaite!
This ship is going to bring such great capability to Canada, helping support its interest both domestic and abroad. I’m so looking forward to seeing the future HMCS PROTECTEUR join the fleet. All most here!
Had a great outing a week ago, where the Fleet Chief and I, along with several PRO sailors and a few Fleet Bosn's had the opportunity to visit JSS 1 (aka the future HMCS PROTECTEUR). Happy to report that the hull is now in one full piece...and it is simply massive.
