@MsBteacherlady Hm. Borrowing from Spanish syntax and grammar, I usually opt to attach prepositions for clarity and aesthetic. “Cities’ light” is awful to look at and awful clunky. “The light of cities” however is both beautiful and clear.

Finally tapped into @Articulate_360, starting with #rise to try the weekly #ELHChallenge Last week's challenge was to create a brief lesson on creating accessible learning experiences. Here's a link to my very brief lesson on #alttext for #accessibility : https://t.co/vcI0ft7vBR

Sunday morning thoughts 💭 :

1. Do lessons engage all 4 #experientiallearning modes?
2. How does teacher guide consider #educatorrole in assumptions/strategies, and how can this be more effective?
3. Do #assessments authentically gauge outcomes through application?

🤔 📝

@Bubbiespics Yes! And, for seasoned veterans too. That piece of unlocking ethical essentiality is easily overlooked by so many. Especially in the context of teaching anti-racism.

Another #BIGREMINDER : activating previous knowledge as a foundation for learning of new but tangential concepts is critical. Beyond sound #scaffolding, not only does this highlight the practical importance of information but can even unlock its ethical essentiality.

@TheTNHoller @coramcmichael My exact thought whenever I hear space talk... like, wait... aren’t we missing massive technology gaps right here on earth? Gals that are exacerbating inequities in our backyards?

@SarahShaw008 It’s 18 in Denver today 😭

@History__Nerd One of my tia’s got citizenship last year at the young age of 60. Immensely proud of her, but also frustrated this process is such a challenge for so many contributing members of our communities

Curious to hear thoughts from the community on this challenge on how you have addressed this or similar challenges in #learningdevelopment ?

Finally, bc of who I am... I recently rewatched a Kendrick Lamar interview on @Complex in which he speaks of a convo w/ a fan who says people relate to his music bc they relate to the experience. Tap in to the experience- the prior knowledge - and you will activate #learning
