@ExeterCouncil My health and wellbeing will be boosted by being able to find an affordable place to live. But as long as you’ve approved hundreds of uni students, good for you!
@devonairradio My only other option are those awful co-living flats in these student blocks which are not much cheaper, and at my age I don’t fancy living in a glorified hotel room surrounded by a bunch of students!
@devonairradio As a single guy in my forties, I’m being completely priced out in Exeter. The cheapest 1-bed flats in the new development on Prince Charles Rd are going for rents of £1,335 pm and you need to have an annual income of at least £40k to afford to live there.
@BBCSpotlight I’m so tired of these protests. Every time I go into town there’s people on Bedford Street protesting about something or other, waving flags and getting in everyone’s way. What are they actually achieving? Nothing that I can see other than annoying the public
@Greg__Sheldon I’m a cyclist and I completely agree. Especially with the ones around Vaughan Road where there were sufficient shared cycle and pedestrian pavements big enough for everyone anyway. The whole thing is completely pointless.
@edfenergy Every month I send you meter readings through the app yet every month I receive emails saying I haven’t. A recent email said I haven’t submitted one since 2021. I submitted one a week ago and have already received an email saying I haven’t. What is going on??
