“This land belongs to Julius Berger Plc, and when I looked at the records, 15 years ago they were given the property, and there was no development. I said, ‘Well, we want to build judges’ quarters, so give me this land.’ For 15 years, there was no development, so we took back our land. And all over social media, they were calling me a land grabber. I didn’t bother myself. I knew where I was going.”
Peter Obi: The CBN Governor and his team are doing well with the Monetary side of the economy.
Rufai: But the President Tinubu you are criticizing is the one that put the CBN Governor there.
Peter Obi: No No No No, it’s not a question of who put him there.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know you all like this guy…
But If you want to hire someone in your company and you interviewed him about how he’s going to solve a particular problem, and he answers like this, I’m sure you will not employ him.
What is the meaning of “I will not tell you”
Peter Obi: In four years, we will generate, transmit, and distribute at least 10,000 megawatts of electricity.
Rufai: How are you going to do it?
Peter Obi: I’m not going to tell you how I’m going to do it, it is not for you to know how. It’s for you to look at a man who is saying this.
I did not know Nnamdi Kanu armed IPOB. I only knew about his utterances. What I would have done is put all his atrocities in the past aside and built unity. In moving forward, we will leave the past in the past.
- Peter Obi
In big elections especially Governorship, the best candidate must be fielded by parties, but it seems APC Kwara wants to mess this up.
Elections are won by finest margins & the thought of dropping Ambassador Abdulfatai, who everyone trusts as a seasoned grassroot mobiliser must not be entertained by Kwara APC and the National Secretariat.
Based on what I have read from trusted sources on ground, Amb. Abdulfatai should be the candidate & the leadership of APC should stick with the decision to make him the party's flag bearer.

Troops of Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA (JTF NW OPFY) have commenced a deliberate offensive operation, code-named Operation CLEAN SWEEP III, targeting terrorist and bandit elements operating within Matazu Local Government Area and adjoining communities in Katsina State.
The operation was launched following the unfortunate incident that led to the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who was abducted alongside his wife by suspected terrorists and bandits in the area. The operation is aimed at locating and neutralizing the perpetrators of the heinous act, dismantling criminal networks and restoring security within the affected communities.
Since the commencement of the operation on 14 June 2026, troops have conducted aggressive fighting patrols, intelligence-led raids, cordon-and-search operations and clearance missions across identified criminal hideouts and suspected terrorist enclaves within the Joint Operations Area (JOA).
In the course of the ongoing offensive, troops recorded notable successes in the Dikkawa Hills general area and surrounding communities. Troops conducted clearance operations on identified terrorist hideouts in Adua, Nasarawa and Karaduwa areas, where several criminal enclaves were searched and combed. During the operations, terrorists' life-support structures and logistics bases were discovered and destroyed, further degrading the criminals' ability to operate within the area.

The Theatre Command JTF OPFY wishes to reassure the good people of Matazu Local Government Area and neighbouring communities that troops remain committed to protecting law-abiding citizens and denying terrorists and bandits freedom of action within the region.
Members of the public are encouraged to continue providing credible and timely information that could assist security agencies in tracking and apprehending terrorists and criminal elements. All information received will be treated with utmost confidentiality. Troops will continue to sustain pressure on criminal elements until the operational objectives are fully achieved.

TROOPS BUSTS INTERSTATE ARMS RING, ARRESTS DISMISSED POLICE PERSONNEL IN PLATEAU
Troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE (OPEP) have recorded a major operational success with the arrest of a suspected high-profile arms trafficker linked to an interstate illegal weapons network. The breakthrough followed credible intelligence on the movement of illicit arms across state lines. Acting swiftly, troops of Sector 6, in collaboration with Headquarters Operation ENDURING PEACE, executed a coordinated intelligence-led operation on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
The suspect, travelling in a white Peugeot vehicle from Jos South towards the Makera axis in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, was identified, placed under surveillance and intercepted at a military checkpoint in Makera. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of two locally fabricated pistols, 167 rounds of 9mm ammunition, three cans of pepper spray and a jack knife. Other items found in his possession include two mobile phones, two cutlasses, a police staff tag, photographs of the suspect in police uniform, two ATM cards, a National Identification Number (NIN) card and cash amounting to N73,300.
Preliminary findings identified the suspect as Inspector Danjuma Yusuf, formerly of Nigeria Police Force Base 7, Abuja, who had been dismissed from service. Further intelligence indicates that the suspect is a key figure in an interstate arms trafficking syndicate, allegedly supplying weapons to criminal elements involved in terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other violent crimes. He is currently in the custody of the troops where further interrogation is ongoing to uncover his network, including associates, financiers and supply channels.
His arrest marks a significant disruption of illegal arms trafficking networks and underscores the effectiveness of ongoing intelligence-driven military operations aimed at curbing the proliferation of illicit weapons.
The Nigerian Army, in collaboration with other security agencies, remains committed to safeguarding lives and property while sustaining offensive operations against all threats to national security. The public is urged to continue providing timely and credible information to support efforts at dismantling criminal networks and restoring lasting peace.
