🚨 JUST IN: House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has sent a criminal referral to President Trump's Department of Justice, asking it to investigate former Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Jordan alleges Smith misled Congress under oath about whether his team obtained and reviewed lawmakers' text messages during the Trump investigations.

The DOJ has confirmed it received the referral and says it will review it. No formal investigation has been announced at this time.

This marks the latest effort by Republicans to scrutinize Smith following his investigations and prosecutions involving President Trump.

🚨 NYC LANDLORDS SUE MAYOR MAMDANI OVER RENT FREEZE

A coalition of landlords has filed suit after the Rent Guidelines Board approved a 2-year, 0% rent increase for roughly 1 million rent-stabilized apartments.

One board member resigned, calling the process a "sham" and saying the outcome was "predetermined."

Landlords say soaring property taxes, insurance, utilities, and maintenance costs make the freeze unsustainable and warn it will hurt housing quality and future investment.

Supporters argue the freeze gives struggling tenants much-needed relief.

🇸🇦🇺🇸 BREAKING: IT’S SIGNED

The United States and Saudi Arabia have signed a nuclear cooperation agreement that could open the door to uranium enrichment on Saudi soil.

Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman signed a “123 Agreement” along with a bilateral safeguards agreement—the legal foundation for what could become a decades-long, multibillion-dollar partnership.

The Department of Energy says the deal will:

• Expand American nuclear exports
• Create U.S. jobs
• Reinforce global nonproliferation standards
• Give American companies broad access to Saudi Arabia’s nuclear program
• Shut out foreign competitors

Wright says the agreement maintains “the highest standards of nuclear safety and nonproliferation.”

The deal now heads to Congress. Blocking it would require a veto-proof two-thirds majority, making rejection extremely difficult.

Saudi Arabia has also repeatedly said it would pursue nuclear weapons if Iran obtains them.
