@frontlinekit You totally misunderstand the meaning of “Ally”. Allies protect and defend one another. With joint peacetime exercises & interoperability. Ukraine NEVER fulfilled any of these objectives. Ukraine is merely a disposable strategic partner for now. That could change on a dime.

@Toriadus NATO isn’t afraid … NATOs first duty is to NATO members. Not to a country which since PfP membership in 1994 was unable to reform sufficiently to qualify for NATO membership. NATO has a process for its 32 members.
