We are excited to be exhibiting alongside @Exo_Env at #FloodandCoast24! Visit Will and Izaak to discuss our Nature Inclusive block designs and the variety of environmental surveys Exo can complete.
Hope to see you there!
Recently, we've undertaken a project to monitor water levels at High Fen Wildland, Norfolk. We have installed a range of equipment at the site to aid the rewetting programme, preserve the health of the peaty soils and boost biodiversity. Read more below👇

Check out our latest video about our largest eco-engineering pilot deployment to date! Over 16 tonnes of our units were deployed off the coat of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and will be monitored over 18 months to assess changes in biodiversity🐟🦀https://t.co/dkr3wMXhHe
Who are Exo Engineering and what do we do? Check out our latest YouTube video to find out how we create low carbon, habitat enhancing structures which protect coastlines and #offshorewind infrastructure. #NaturebasedSolutions

From today, #BiodiversityNetGain legislation will become a legal requirement for new developments submitting planning applications. What does this mean for landowners and developers, and how can #BNG be calculated? Read below for more information 👇

⚠️New blog post! Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the #coastalfutures24 event alongside @Exo_Env. The event provided a great opportunity for networking and initiated conversation about marine management best practices. Find out more 👇 https://t.co/fSF75yMs0q
Today is #WorldWetlandsDay2024! Wetlands play an important part in storing carbon, protecting coastal areas from storm events and flooding, and providing habitat for many species (as well as providing us with entertainment as we attempt to navigate through them!) 🐸
We are excited to sponsor and attend the Coastal Futures conference over the next few days!
We are looking forward to meeting everyone at our shared booth with @Exo_Env, as well as Will Melhuish's talk on the Biodiversity Net Gain Metric on the 25th.
See you soon!
We are super excited to be attending the #CoastalFutures24 conference on the 24th and 25th of January. Exo's Will Melhuish will be discussing how we can achieve Biodiversity Net Gain (#BNG) using coastal infrastructure with Nature Inclusive Design. We hope to see you there!
We used Baited Remote Underwater Video (BRUV) surveys to establish the baseline benthic community at our ExoReef deployment site in the Celtic Sea, allowing us to assess the changes over time. Check out some of the best bits on our YouTube channel! 🦀🐟https://t.co/EfBL1NI47y
Over the past few months, we have delivered CPD talks on the new Biodiversity Net Gain legislation, due to be introduced early next year. We have collated a list of questions that were asked during the talks, check out our responses below 👇https://t.co/VEue9CgDPD
The Exo team have found themselves exploring innovative approaches to surveying lowland fenland and peat coring at the High Fen Wildland Site in Norfolk.
Check out how we got on at the Nattergal High Fen Wildland Site alongside Agricarbon in our Blog:

Some really exciting findings about the potential of #artificialreef units to help restore marine biodiversity. It can take up to 5 years for functional reefs to develop, so we must take action now to not only restore habitats, but collectively reduce our GHG emissions 📉🪸
Head over to our YouTube channel to check out our video on Biodiversity Net Gain legislation which will be impacting development projects from the delayed date of January 2024. We also run-through an example using the Metric 4.0 calculation tool #BNG 🏗️https://t.co/ye3Briwakj
Our ExoReef unit deployment in the Celtic Sea is our biggest pilot project yet, using 14 tonnes of our eco-engineered units. Monitoring will not only be used to assess the bioreceptivity of our products but identify their suitability in floating offshore wind applications.
Last month, it was announced that the UK Government would be delaying #biodiversitynetgain until the new year. Head over to our blog to find out why it's being delayed and what the Government are doing to provide extra support 👇 https://t.co/yTJLVLAyKu
📢❗️ We are thrilled to announce that we have teamed up with @ORECatapult, @metawales, @HiraethEnergy and @PEBL_CIC on our latest deployment in Pembrokeshire. Monitoring of units will inform the potential for use of nature-inclusive designs in floating offshore windfarms
The Exo Team have returned from a third week of peat coring in the Humberhead Peatlands, once more on behalf of the @YorksWildlife.
Carrying out a study across the peatlands in the Idle Valley and Potteric Carr Nature Reserve.
Another excellent week taking in the sun and sights!
