Yes but BM Mk1 is not Artemis III. That is BM Mk2 and that can't launch on anything other than NG without significant modification. It is too big. Only Starship with the large cargo bay doors can do this without massive modification.

They made noises about a BM Mk1.5 but that is all we heard, noises.

There is quite clear evidence in the UK that people who had a full bike licence in their late teens or early 20's, who only had a 250 of that vintage, are about 10 times as likely to kill themselves with a large bike (600cc up), in their 50's, after a long gap from the 250 day,s as a rider who continued riding with a range of bikes.

A starter bike for a non rider cannot be over 149cc. A modern 149cc can be deregulated (and they will), to a power above most 250's of 40 years ago.

Once you can ride and have experience, the larger bikes are fine. Mostly. My son went through the 125cc, 550cc, then up to his R1200RS. He's knackered his shoulder from putting it in the ditch.

I love bikes but I have no illusions about how dangerous they are to the inexperienced. I'm also irritated that his experience has made my wife demand I get rid of my bikes..

More importantly when Farage says what the people are thinking, then Starmer and his media attack dogs go after him, it drives votes.

Two weeks now. It will be extremely interesting to look at the votes in this election. Burnham may win but in the general election the Labour vote was significantly reduced.

People are made. "Cold rage" is a real thing. Voting is in two weeks.

As for the "performances" today. There will be analysis of the "but" being used.

Labour and Lib Dems. "It was terrible BUT we must control you".

Tories, "we saw some justice BUT, we have to see a LOT more to ensure this doesn't happen again, the people must see their concerns are being met".

Reform, no BUT, simple "The people have a right to be furious and they need to control that, store it and use it at a time when it is right to do so, like the Makerfield by election"

Starmer? Well he is a lawyer isn't he. The BUT is there but it is implied and never fully spoken. But anyone listening to that liar can here the BUT loud and clear.

What all the BUT merchants are not recognising is that this is not going to die down and this is not going to go away.

Terrible as Henry's death was, if it wakes the people up and gets them to realise that they need change before this will stop, then he will not have died in vain.

If those who created the situation which led to his death win his death will have been utterly futile.

It is going to get faster and faster. Once a foothold starts, the race will begin in earnest. Right now everyone "predicts" that it will happen.

When it starts happening the predictable "gold rush" will start.

It is the only thing which can put AI in the shade and it will be a while before it does.

Blue just received notification that NASA will not wait for them to sort NG, they must look at launch options for their HLS offering in order to meet the 2027 Artemis III mission.

Blue will now need to spend the next few months working on alternate launch possibilities for BM2 if they want to stay in the Atemis program.

Whether that is FH, Vulcan or Starship, the instructions are clear. "You don't get a by on HLS because you blew up your launch vehicle and its pad.

NASA is leveraging it's muscle. Let's see how far it gets them.

The precedents from history are all over. The "sophistication" of Rome where the "sons of Rome" decided they didn't need to fight, that could be done by the armies of the "conquered". Facing the sheer might of the "barbarians".

China and the enlightened Arab world facing the Mongols. All their castles and defences and "social structure" collapsed under unrestricted might.

On the other hand the way China absorbed the Mongols, softened them and then neutered them is a long known tactic of the conquered.

The US came to its senses in time to avoid the surgeons knife.

Whether it can take and continue without reverse in a short 4 years is still to be seen. The creeping malaise which took it over will try to reclaim it the second the light is shuttered.

I do wonder how many "Military Tacticians" have factored in the possible impact of Russia winning in Ukraine?

They still have not worked out what hitting the IPO target then hitting the Tesla target then hitting the SpaceX target will do to his wealth.

Just the Tesla package alone, fully delivered, allied to post SpaceX IPO value, gives him wealth closing in on the GDP of Germany.

Add in the SpaceX package on top and it spirals even more.

"Anal"ists never factor in his existing shares when talking about his wealth and the incentive packages. They only witter on about his "new" shares.

Just as well he intends to go to Mars. If he even makes 50% they will try and work out how to steal it from him. Even though they are going to get half a $Trillion in taxes, they will still try and steal it.

@johnkonrad When your pot is shrinking because you are hostile to the economy and also you are pouring more and more out of the pot, into things that suppress the economy and do not grow it, then something has to give.

For Labour Defence is always an "easy win" in "reallocating" funds.
