@michael_scholer We are sorry you feel that way. However, we have been trying to make the multiplayer mode work on consoles for a very long time. We would have to cut corners and change the game itself to make it work. We are not willing to compromise the quality of the game for that.
When we launched co-op, we expected players to run through missions together. Instead, a lot of them just... hung out, explored, and built things, ignoring the objectives entirely. We hadn't designed for that, but we're not complaining!

We once challenged the community to beat The Riftbreaker on Brutal difficulty. We didn't think many people would manage it. A lot of people did. Easily. And then they showed us what we'd been doing wrong for ages!

At our first trade show in 2019, we built players a starter base so they could skip straight to the action. They sold it and built their own instead.

@justin70400 It does really fkn suck. We are very sorry about that. If we make a sequel it's probably going to be co-op day 1, so it will be easier to optimize for that.
