לבסוף הם הצליחו ליצור קשר עם הגנבים שביקשו כופר בסכומי עתק, רגע לפני שוויתר הגנבים ירדו מהדרישה בסך 300,000 שקלים, למחיר מבצע - 100,000 שקלים!

אם הוא לא משלם עכשיו הודיע לו הגנב ״הרכב יוצא לירדן״.
ארצי למרות תחנוניו למשטרה שתתערב תפעיל כלים ותנסה לסייע לו, גילה במהרה שהוא פשוט לבד בסיפור הזה, המדינה שאמורה להגן עליו ועל רכושו זו שהוא משרת באהבה פשוט נעלמה.

יש לו את כל האישורים ביד, כל מסמך שצריך להציג כדי להמחיש את מסכת הייסורים שעבר. הוא הגיע כבר לפני חודש עד למנכ״ל משרד התחבורה, שלח לו מייל ועוד אחד, בינתיים צרצרים!

על הרכב יש לו הלוואה בסך 400,000 שקלים, הוא שילם עוד מאה לגנב ומחיר הרכב נשחק ל - 350,000 שקלים, הוא כבר עכשיו בהפסד עצום.

המדינה שהייתה מראש אמורה להגן עליו ועל הרכוש שלו, מעבירה אותו מסע נוסף, סיוט שלא ברא השטן.
בישראל יש כלל פשוט: אם אתה נוכל, רמאי, או משתמט רחמנא ליצלן, המדינה תשמור עלייך. אם אתה אזרח שומר חוק שתורם, עובד ומשלם מיסים, גיהנום.

אם סיפור כזה לא מגיע לתקשורת אין סיכוי שאף אוכל חינם שמקבל משכורת מכספי המיסים שלנו יזיז את התחת שלו, אז אם בא לכם לעזור לאסף, שתפו את הסיפור ותייגו את שרת התחבורה מי יודע אולי היא תתפנה מעיסוק ״ביהלומים״ לאזרח פשוט שבסך הכל זקוק לשירות שמגיע לו.
