@0xShual @SiegeRhino2 MEV-inspect from FB team is decent at tracking things already known (matching) but I think the best run something custom built tracing transactions. Symbolic execution can be used for contract exploits but also for MEV analysis. Not an expert but I know of Manticore and mythril.

Some stupid bot decided to come in and bribe 99% on my good, undiscovered MEV. Refuses to collaborate. What kind of a madman is running this thing? Literal money printer he is torching. I’ll never understand these people.

@uriklarman @SiegeRhino2 Lots of eyes on bundle explorer. Basically anything tagged FB is screaming MEV. Easier to hide in public mempool and obfuscate. Drawback is generalized frontrunners are there, so need to be tricky so they don’t see. Increase in very sophisticated actors recently.

@SiegeRhino2 Yes, learned that in MEV101. Also have sat in front of FB bundle explorer myself scanning for alpha many times. Sometimes others still find it. Analysis tools getting really good these days. BTW what are people using for private mempool txs now that taichi closed?

@anon75374998 Careful. Few million in collateral within 10% of today’s lows. Liquidations might cascade. Many millions in collateral at 0.009. Chance market may unravel.

@mevnormie @lostbutlucky Flashbots Discord has private channel group “external-searcher” with channels for jump, citadel, two sigma, blackrock, Jane street, D E Shaw. Channel names visible with tools but contents hidden. Don’t think big players are on chain yet. But maybe soon. Will need to catch up.

@0xmillionz Really tough to beat Mas-Colell, Whinston, and Green’s Microeconomic Theory. It’s the definitive 1st semester micro textbook for basically all econ grad programs. Prob can go straight to chpts 7-9 for game theory. Chpt 23 on mechanism design also good.

@EdgarArout ZFS caches files in memory behind the scenes if there is excess memory available. Some of this might be due to faster disk io, and some might be memory caching because this machine has more available. Worth exploring.

@SiegeRhino2 @ChainsightA @Uniswap @bertcmiller @phildaian Yes they only analyze half the picture. Much more complex, but probably a good ballpark on profit. Also those “two” entities I believe are one and the same.
