If there are indigent people stuck in jail, and the role of pretrial services is to help the indigent, isn't that their failure? How is that a money bail failure? Put blame where blame belongs. @JacquelinePitts If Kentucky has the most robust and well funded pretrial services agency (commonly referred to as the gold standard in pretrial) then why in the world are their jails filled with poor people. This is not a bail issue...it is a failed pretrial services issue.
