This panel from episode 190 of #LoreOlympus by @used_bandaid seems to be a nod to the famous Roman sculpture The Rape of Proserpina, which depicts Persephone’s abduction by Hades to the Underworld. (“Rape” in this instance refers to seizing or taking of someone, not sexually.)
Y’all, the fast pass episode for #LoreOlympus tonight has me HYPED UP!!! No spoilers, and this is not based off the chapter, but I just love them so much!! 😭💕🎉✨😮💨 @used_bandaid#loreOlympusFanart
@LoreOlymPOD@used_bandaid As usual, laughed the entire time. I lost it when you were talking about the trial being sweeps week 😂😂😂 You should know, I always get EVERY single one of your musical references 😂
Lo Halloween costume 2 of 3: descending into Tartarus.
We really love that this costume was both easy to construct AND completely inscrutable to outside observers. #loreolympus
Alright nerds, this is a big day! I spoke with Rachel Smythe / @used_bandaid all about #LoreOlympus. We talked about the series, Greek myth generally, troublesome sources, and so much more! Listen here: https://t.co/RNh5VyP60v
One of the strongest aspects of #loreolympus is @used_bandaid's symbolism in her art, and it is in her representations of trauma that the comic truly does something groundbreaking. https://t.co/CPQIZgl6EK
I love to commission artists for their work. But if you publicly attack another artist, particularly in such an unprofessional and nasty way, I don’t care how good your art is—you’ve lost my business.
