An ocean of energy opportunities reinforced in the Andaman Sea!
Very happy to report the presence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram-3 an exploratory well drilled by Oil India Ltd. 15 km off the east coast of the Andaman Islands at a water depth of 355 meters.
Initial production testing of the well at the depth of 1900 plus meters in the Eocene formation has established the presence of natural gas through continuous flaring.
Oil India is carrying out gas sampling to assess the composition & calorific value of gas and to carry out isotope studies to understand the genesis of the gas.
Under the Samudra Manthan Mission (National Deep Water Exploration Mission) announced by Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji on Independence Day 2025, large number of deepwater & Ultra deepwater exploration wells are planned in our offshore basins to fully exploit our hydrocarbon reserves.
Presence of hydrocarbon is now reported in 2(Two) wells out of 3 (Three) exploratory wells drilled by OIL in current exploratory campaign off Andaman Basin.
This presence of natural gas will help us in taking forward our exploration ambitions in coordination with global deepwater exploration experts like @petrobras, @TotalEnergies, @bp_india, @Shell, @exxonmobil and will be a significant milestone in our journey through Amrit Kaal!

I think it is about time that @narendramodi ji needs to give marching orders to Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. The NEET cancellation followed by CBSE fiasco is a major execution disaster. Apart from the disaster on execution front, there is now talk about towards favoritism in appointment of execution agencies.

Involving Armed Forces in NEET execution will not restore the faith of lakhs of children and their parents. Its like using a band-aid to prevent a dam from bursting! There is no guarantee that the disaster will not strike again in one form or the another unless complete overhaul is done.

Probity demands that the Education Minister needs to resign and a complete relook needs to be taken at the NEET execution and the CBSE copy checking system.

Read this story. Carefully.

CBSE called for OSM tenders thrice. Zero bids the first time. No qualified bidder the second time. And finally, the technical bar was lowered until COEMPT could clear it.

Scanning resolution cut. Robotic scanner requirement dropped. CMMI certification lowered from Level 5 to Level 3. Penalties for errors in answer sheets removed.

TCS, India’s biggest IT services company, qualified in the third round too. TCS lost. COEMPT - a company with a spectacular track record of failure - won.

And what are CBSE students complaining about today? Badly scanned answer sheets. Missing pages. A broken evaluation portal.

Teachers had warned CBSE that the OSM system needed at least a year or two for further preparation before nationwide implementation, yet it was rushed through.

So I ask again - who wanted COEMPT to win? Who lowered the bar, step by step, until this company could clear it?

Pradhan ji and CBSE say “due process was followed.” That is not an answer, that is not accountability. The question is whether the contract was honestly awarded to the best company which could do the job correctly.

The futures of 18.5 lakh children were handed to a company that could only qualify after the rules were bent for it.

To the BJP Ministers attacking me for asking questions - I have, from day one, demanded an independent judicial probe. Expand it from CBSE to every contract awarded to COEMPT. Our youth deserve the truth.

And Modi ji, your silence on the CBSE debacle and inaction against the Education Minister tells the country what you actually care about - not the futures of lakhs of students, only the survival of your own government.
