@LanTweets The Red Right Hand are an extreme version of this in:
Wolverine Goes to Hell
Wolverines vs. The X-Men
and
Wolverine’s Revenge
Though maybe, since Wolverine’s kind of a collateral-damage-machine, it doesn’t count as much.
Hey everyone 33 is down to its last days on @WeAreZoop!
“It’s National Lampoon’s John Wick”
-ComicsXF
“It has character growth and nuance woven into its pages...”
-The Comic Book Yeti
Trust me, this beautifully mad story is your new binge read.

@riteshwriter Saw an examination by a linguistics expert and what frustrated him the most was that the trailer managed to use NONE of the words that they use to determine certain accent origins, so all he could say was, “It sounds like a certain sort of northern accent, kinda?” 😁
@DriveThoughts @LulachTheSimple @FahlmaVitane@neilhimself Right… so maybe you need to take this up with the Oxford English Dictionary, Shakespeare, and Jane Austen.

@Yonbu_ @EvanReadsComics Honestly, I started reading X-Men in the late 90s when Kitty was pretty much treated as a member of the “adults,” so I didn’t even know about the age gap until waaaaaaaay later (mostly because, even reading classics, I assumed Piotr etc were all late-teens/early 20s).
@geekyhush I think that Aang was mostly upset about the people wearing the clothes/tattoos because they were doing it as “fans” of his rather than because they were part of the culture or even just understood & wanted to emulate it.
If someone is brought into the Air Nation? Probably ok.
@SemJayCBD @ColtHandsome@cal50 Likely due to stuff like the Pearl HS shooting in 1997.
I knew someone who lived through that, had been right there next to one of the people shot. *shudders*
@616BVCKYNAT Anyone seriously hating on her isn’t worth paying attention to.
Honestly, a few of the more serious insults I’ve seen directed her way just made me block the person, because there’s no way that brain ever says anything interesting.
@kataloupee@WriteinBK The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl by the Hales, two novels about Doreen Green, age 13 (then 14) and not an inch mean. Delightful.
The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander (maybe my favorite book series, starting aimed younger & growing w/the reader… though book 1 is still heavy).
@kataloupee@WriteinBK So, Tamora Pierce’s Song of the Lioness hit me hard as a kid (even if some was over my head) and her Provost’s Dogs trilogy (about a 16 y/o from the slums who’s a rookie in a fantasy world’s city guard & assigned to her old neighborhood) I read a few years ago and enjoyed.
@kataloupee@WriteinBK The Glass Town Game by Catheryne M. Valente is a story set in the world created by, and starring, the real life Brontë siblings when they were children.
