My Take on ISKCON Midday meal pilot project in Kolkata ✍️

ISKCON is established by a Bengali & its headquarter is in Mayapur, so its not a foreign institution , they propagate Gaudiya Vaishnavism

But they also promote Vegan food which is contradictory to large numbers of non vegetarian Bengalis, so they have right to oppose the decision

ISKCON (@RadharamnDas ji) should make MENU chart by consulting with Prominent Nutritionists so that there's no compromise with nutrition of children in Midday meal & they should ensure high quality food distribution

Or @SuvenduWB govt should provide Egg twice weekly through schools if required to non vegan children

& Future decision should be taken based on Feedback from Guardians & Teachers

& regarding Veg- Non veg debate, BJP govt is providing Fish rice & Egg rice in Rs 5 through MAA AHAR canteens , so that's not the issue
