Yesterday we celebrated the feast of the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven. After attending Mass we completed this craft activity to help the children understand that Jesus went up, body and soul into heaven to be with God His Father.
We have enjoyed the story of Jesus walking with His disciples on the Road to Emmaus. At first the disciples didn’t realise it was Jesus until they sat down to a meal with Him. He took bread, broke it shared it with them, their eyes were opened and they saw it was Him
Yesterday, to celebrate May the Month of Our Lady, we crowned the Statue of Mary with flowers. A big thank you to Fr Swift for joining us in school and leading us in our prayers to Our Lady. #maythemonthofourlady
We are very impressed with the EYFS children’s portraits of King Charles using the artwork of Frida Kahlo as inspiration. We used cutting and collating skills to create a bright, flowery and colourful background, a key feature of her artwork. @MrsHaworth_StA#staugart

What a pleasure to accompany our wonderful choir today. They were amazing, and in the words of an audience member, performed “like they were living their best life”. ❤️ @staugustine_p@eyfsstaugustine@MrsMalcolmStAug
