There are actually people, doctors even, who are disappointed that COVID-19’s fatality rate is roughly comparable to the flu or perhaps only slightly worse, and not even close to 10x as originally claimed. Imagine being so bereft of decency as to lament such a great outcome.

As of last night, 0.28% of the SA population is considered an active COVID case with recoveries about to touch the 70% mark. 0.0.14% of SA population has died - the equivalent of 3 normal days in SA
But 18% of the South African workforce lost their jobs over lockdown.
