Just met a man full of lamentations from spending two days to get to Lagos from the South East of Nigeria, not South East Asia.. The major economic artery roads are almost immotorable. The consequent gridlocks tell of the failure of consequence management in Nigeria and the limits of government by propaganda. Tongue-in-cheek I suggested they should have tried the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Priorities used to be a key word in planning and budgeting literature. That too may have been flushed down the toilet when Tropical Gangsters rode into town.
Civilization and almost all human progress have been created by a talented few for the benefit of the many.
The key to sustaining this is maintaining the conditions that allow exceptional individuals to arise and excel.
Only then is the dysfunction of the average safely diluted and rendered non-lethal to themselves and everyone else.
Most find this reality hard to accept.
Government needs to do something about these NEOLIFE / GNLD guys
They are destroying our youths. Walahi
2 weeks ago. I was outside a club around 11PM

She - bros you’re looking good o
There's an African country where a few months ago, the president awarded a road contract for $9.8bn to a construction company that has the president's son on the board.
The citizens of that country are currently on Twitter crying because Trump just withheld $500m worth of medical aid that they were expecting to receive in 2025.
Amazingly, the same citizens cannot see the contradiction between paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of this tweet. Those are just 2 standalone issues to them. 🙂
Osei Yaw Ababio was a chemistry teacher at DMGS Onitsha, Anambra State. He wrote the book to make the understanding of chemistry simpler for his students and in 1985 he published the book in Onitsha with Africana First Publisher PLC Onitsha.
I contacted the publisher this morning and they have no clue to get to him.
I’m yet to find a lead to him.
I watched the South African elections and wondered what Mahmoud Yakubu and INEC thought of it and of themselves. Then I watched Ramaphosa sign up on a government of National Unity and I wondered if those who captured power in Nigeria were watching. How do they benchmark. Now I am watching Kenya’s William Ruto on the world stage in Switzerland as the face of Africa. The political class of 1999 seem to have completed the humbling of Nigeria with the loss of a sense of shame as Nigeria takes a back seat to their self love.
Last jamb was a disaster for my village youngsters. Over 70% of them failed jamb and the rest sparely passed. Rather than waiting for the government, we decided to take a different approach. We took the challenge upon ourselves for it not to repeat itself again. Every youngster in my village right now is on an intensive morning and evening drilling for next years Jamb and they undertake CBT once monthly with large pool of 16 years past questions across different subjects. In the CBT we track their performances on different topics and lays more emphasis on their weaknesses across different subject topics. One common thing we noticed is that many of the youngsters are alien to computers and can't even use a mouse nor keyboards. How were they planning to succeed in jamb when they could had probably be using a computer for the first time on Jamb day?
It's an eye opener and our mission is for all of them to score above 250. We will be paying for all their jamb exam fees and are also offering full scholarship to everyone that scores 300 and above.
I left the UK and returned to Nigeria to start my career in March 2013. Most of the Nigerian international students I went to uni with had already returned since 2012.
Nearly all of us who came back started planning to escape from Nigeria in 2016. There was only one thing that changed in Nigeria between 2013 and 2016. We know what or who it was.
But yeah, "GEJ was a terrible president." If you keep repeating it to yourself 9 years later, despite being mocked by all the data in existence, that will somehow make it true 👍🏿
Me, I don't care who has any investment in maintaining this gigantic untruth because none of you feeds me, and I will speak freely - "GEJ must go" was a foreign intelligence operation run out of Washington DC by the US State Department, whose doctrine interpreted Nigeria's economic growth and growing partnership with China as a strategic threat to American economic and military interests on the continent.
The Obama administration repeatedly interfered very directly and blatantly in that election cycle. Barack Obama recorded and posted a video urging Nigerians to "vote for the next chapter." Michelle Obama involved herself in #BringBackOurGirls, which was itself merely the 'Big Idea' within the larger marketing campaign that was "Jonathan must go." John Kerry travelled to Nigeria and met with the opposition.
The local players on the ground who took part in the marketing and political campaign to oust Goodluck Jonathan and replace him with the Illiterate were merely useful idiots - yes, that includes you reading this with your guilty conscience. If the shoe fits, I am definitely referring to you. You were nothing but a pawn in a geopolitical tussle between 2 of the Countries That Actually Matter.
Because you lack wisdom, insight and especially humility, you really thought you were doing something historic by removing an incumbent president - a trick you have not been able to repeat ever since, because the US State Department - which actually runs Nigeria - had no problem with 8 years of The Illiterate, and definitely has no problem with another 8 years of the Drug Dealer whom it actively protects.
You idiots thought that you were empowered, politically awakened people, when you were just chess pieces on a board being pushed around by forces you were too stupid and egotistical to recognise. Now your GDP has effectively HALVED in just 9 years, and a whole generation of high-quality human capital has been lost to the US and its allies.
And they didn't bring back your girls!
Stupid fucks.
There is a real problem when Nigeria is set to borrow another $1.5 billion from @WorldBank for budget support, and SUVs worth N160 million each are reportedly to be bought for 360 members of the House of Representatives. We are not yet serious as a country.
Confused policies from FX, crypto, naira redesign, and to the worst implementation of cashless policy in the world. @GodwinIEmefiele is a disgrace to anything technocracy🤦🏾♂️
