"If you didn't bring me back and I didn't bring myself back, which I don't even know how I would pull that off...I think Kass went to see her Uncle..."
Meanwhile Asmodeus is ordering himself a drink, trying to stop his hands from shaking.
"Maybe I shouldn't have...I'm doing nothing but causing her ache..."
@UnfetteredPsych "I am....unsure Rouben. But this is the day I was told of the prophecy that would shape the foundations of this earth" his frown deepened. Sure enough a younger michael stood there. Dumbfounded. Angry, shocked. And then he punched the wall of a building. Cracking the stone.
There was a cackle. A laugh. As He turned Rouben. There in the center of the ashen wasteland stood a maniacal devil. In his full glory. Chained to the throne was humans. Friends. Jody, Sam, Dean. And worse was the head that hung from the dead trees. Cains, Michaels, Naomis.
the colour drained from his face, not because of fear, but because he knew earth. he knew the way roots threaded beneath cities, the way rivers carried life. this wasn't heaven, it wasn't hell. this was home.
“what happened?”
he asked, eyes scanning the horizon.
@UnfetteredPsych He nodded as he lifted his fingers to bring them back to the present. Only they didn't appear back to the same field instead they stood outside the gates of Heaven as Michael frowned. "I.....i remember this'
@UnfetteredPsych He lifted a hand and there next to the heads that hung was a single gravestone. Run over with Ivy and greenery. The only living thing in the area. "With Nature gone. The seelie realm will die. You fade to nothing and nothing stands in the way of what comes next"
"The future." He warned as he took a deep breath and lifted his fingers and touched his forehead. And for a moment nothing happened and then they weren't there anymore instead they were standing on a patch of burnt ashen earth.
his demeanour shifted when michael sat beside him. not standing over, not making himself bigger, but joining him. he knew then it was something.
“what is it? because it's always being shown and never what i've seen.”
"Last One I'm afraid"
He squatted down next to Rouben as he sighed he could see the roots lucifer had planted in the kid. But there was still glimmers of hope.
"I came because I wish to show you something"
the grace alerted before the voice, his hand remained on his drink, exhaling over the steam. eyes that studied the horizon, danced up to his father.
“michael.”
he responded, too exhausted to rise, sitting in comfort.
“this another social call?”
Michael appeared seemingly out of nowhere. It was time to strike. To get the kid to see the danger if Lucifer won. He was still dying. The antidote never given as he sucked in a breath.
"Hello Rouben"
