LH: "I just wasn't good enough...I've got lots to sort out on my side...The setup they have, the brake, steering wheel, it's a lot different. Just struggling with confidence...can't brake late..."
This was him many races into 2013 talking about the Mercedes W04...

@MoSyed110 One of the most successful creators of all time and you decided yeah let's completely change everything & chase something else instead, it's clearly not been working
Genius!
@F1JayyUK For sure, but 2 main points everyone forgets:
- He made that decision like 3 years ago now - surely the cutoff was the next season or 2, he can't know anything this many years in advance
- He was being pushed out. There was not an option to still be there. So what can he regret?
@Anachronist_9X@ace_grading But that clearly wasn't working. They've been closed essentially for years
Simple economics: if you can't keep up with demand, your prices are too low. Up them say to get 50% better margins, lose 50% of your customers, and you STILL make more money. So... Pretty obvious tbh
@BigDazSaturdays@ace_grading You say multiple things per tweet idk what you mean. Why annual pricing is that way you mean? Idk ask the company, 200 a year is their price cause they've obvs calculated something, and for the first year you get 100 credit as a nice bonus
@BigDazSaturdays@ace_grading They don't hold the same value CAUSE they're so cheap and available. PSA slabs are artificially expensive cause it costs hundreds
I'd rather pay ยฃ12 for a ยฃ50 card to turn into ยฃ150 (that's like 8.5x profit), than pay ยฃ200 for it to turn into ยฃ300 (1.5x profit)
This will help
@BigDazSaturdays@ace_grading They were too cheap before. That's what you're not considering.
If I open a burger shop, and all my competitors charge ยฃ10, but I charge ยฃ2, are you really gonna have a big cry if I increase to ยฃ4 cause mine are always out of stock? And now I can hire more staff, make more etc?
To me I don't understand how people can expect a company to be cheap, always open, provide the best service and never make any mistakes?
Surely people understand that constantly being fully booked up & everyone getting mad they can't submit needed to be resolved... And to do so you need to scale... For which you need money...
They were too cheap before. People liked exploiting that. Now they're not, so people are mad. But a little bit of thought makes it very clear why they had to change things.
I wish the complainers would actually provide a solution though. Cause they can't, that's the issue.
@F1Clapped I mean, why not use all the data available to you? F2 results seems like a reasonable resource to use.
Antonelli had a pretty damn impressive F2 campaign by most metrics btw, him & Bearman having a crap car doesn't change that imo
I honestly will never believe a modern teammate gap above like 1s, maybe even less closer to 0.5s is the limit in fair conditions imo.
Something else was going on or your data analysis technique is heavily floored, cause they're simply just not that far off eachother in reality
