I’ve been watching F1 for a while and rewatched a lot of previous seasons having seen lots of dominant teams

Not to take credit away from Max

I think everyone understand’s McLaren’s decision to wipe the slate clean considering we all agree how ridiculous these repercussions were in the first place for racing, and they’re just going to continue to snowball more out of control than they’ve gotten

At the same time, i’m incredibly frustrated that they choose now, when it’s oscar who’s made contact, to scrap them altogether. This team paraded lando around last media day, having him publically apologize and take responsibility for a his move in Singapore, where he made clear that he was dealing with repercussions from it internally. His repercussions may be gone due to Oscar’s move, but i don’t see how that suffices considering not only the difference between the two moves, but the lasting impact the sprint crash is having on max’s gain in the fight

I just hope at this point they mean what they say when they say lando’s are reversed, and we won’t see anymore of these
